Sara Viniar is an actor, teaching artist, stage manager, and theatre administrator based in South Jersey. She graduated from Arcadia University in 2014, where she earned a BA in Theatre Arts while studying Acting, Movement, Improv, Stage Management, Business of the Arts, and Theatre for Young Audiences. Sara has been performing since the age of 8 years old, where she played an orphan in the classic musical ANNIE, was bitten by the "theatre bug", and has not stopped since!
Immediately after graduating, Sara began working in the Greater Philadelphia area, working as an arts administrator at EgoPo Classic Theater and The Ritz Theatre Company, where she currently worked in Group Sales & Advertising. Sara also joined the staff at the Cherry Hill Performing Arts Center, teaching acting classes and assisting with productions for youth at their theatre camp. Currently, Sara works as a Freelance Teaching Artist, working with The Walnut Street Theatre, Theatre Horizon, ASAP Drama, and others. In addition, Sara spends her "downtime" performing in and stage managing local productions of theatre, at companies such as The Ritz Theatre Company, Haddonfield Plays & Players, Village Playbox, and many more! Sara's dream is to one day open a theatre/studio where she can lend her talents to professional level theatre productions. But, most importantly, Sara wants to be able to run education program, full of classes for kids and high-quality Theatre for Young Audiences - she believes that theatre is the perfect tool for connection in this time of technological advancement, and wants to help create the audience of tomorrow through the learning of the arts! In her limited free time, Sara loves to read, look at pictures of adorable animals, watch superhero movies (especially her girl, Wonder Woman!), and visit the Jersey Shore! |
